I emigrated to the U.S. in 1996 from Harrogate in Northern England, where I served as a Police Officer. I became a U.S. Citizen by naturalization in 1999.
I collect firearms which are classified by The Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms
and Tobacco as "Curios and Relics",
which covers my main areas of interest - WW1 & 2.
I hold a Curios and Relics FFL for the purpose of collecting these historical
firearms.
I do not deal,
trade or sell firearms
As well as collecting firearms, I collect and restore
WW2 military vehicles, importing my 1944 Ford GPW jeep and trailer with
me from England. I have also been known to collect double decker buses
- but that's another story!
I'm a proud member of The NRA of UK; MD
State Rifle & Pistol Assn; NRA of America; OGCA and many other shooting
organizations both from around the U.S. and the world. I also serve as a Board
Member of the Garand Collectors Assn., acting Advertising Editor for the Assosition's
Journal magazine.
